The joy of finding something really, really old that looks so "today"..This is what vintage means - at least for me. I can't say that I have many vintage pieces in my wardrobe. I don't really like shopping in vintage shops and that's mainly because I prefer to know the full story behind in order to feel it "vintage". Otherwise I just see an old, incurious item. So these - few - vintage items I own, are what my beloved Grandma left me, and that's why they are so special to me.
Happy Friday to all of ya!
Until later..

I know exactly what you mean. Vintage is worthy when the person that owned the piece was family. This minimal but so elegant ensemble certainly translates to a refined and beautiful lady that your grandma must have been and of course you honor her by being who you are!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfit in all its simplicity!I particularly love the clear booties!
ReplyDeleteAs for the vintage belt, I used to buy a lot of vintage but my love for them has worn out! I still keep some very unique pieces from my grandma too, but these come out only in very special cases!
