On the red carpet @ Oscars 2012
I am very happy that I managed to see the Oscars last night and I mean not only the Red Carpet but the whole ceremony as well. You see is a bank holiday today, so we could stay up all night long with no regrets for being tired at work..! While writing this post, I am sitting in my sofa, drinking my hot latte! Pure bliss..
But let's stay focused on our subject! Yesterday Oscars' red carpet had glam, jet blacks, sexy details, sparkles, whites - many whites - and fiery reds! I thought that it would be better to share with you my favorite 10 appearances sorting them out by color, so lets start with the...

Angelina looked simply amazing and so sexy, in her velvet, high slit Versace Atelier. Her hair and the red lipstick just completed a perfect appearance.

My favorite from NY!
Just before beginning to work on my London Fashion Week post, I am still thinking of what we saw during the NYFW. Well I have to admit that this year I wasn't so amazed - at least not as much as I expected - with the collcetions.But still, there were some exceptions like: Rodarte, Alexander Wang and Rag&Bone, which I was blown away with every little detail of their collection..
Rodarte's collection was full of creative and magic details.. I don't know where to start from...the hair pieces (also mentioned here), the unbelievable shoes with real sand in the heels or the black&white shearling, and girls this is a trend alert! I bet we will see many shearling jackets next fall!
Alexander Wang. I think when it comes to sport, alternative and a bit masculine style, he is one of the best - if not the best- designers. And with this collection he proves it..Head over heels with the knee-high boots, the layerings and especially those incredible fishnet turtlenecks. They are definitely a keeper..
Rag&Bone knows definitely how to make an everyday, urban woman to "rock", since the two designers know more than anyone else how the street-fashion game is played! Especially during winter, the key piece that will make you stand out on the streets is.. the outerwear of course.
And they showed amazing coats and jackets such as the red-green-beige stripe coat or the floral jacket.

Η πιο πρόσφατη προσθήκη στη wishlist (της φαντασίας μου) είναι αυτό το Tibi σακάκι..Μάλλον έπαιξε λίγο ρόλο και το ότι το φόρεσε μία από τις πιο αγαπημένες μου fashionistas, η Olivia Palermo στo Tibi show...Αλλά εκτός από την Olivia, το φόρεσε και η πάντα στιλάτη Hanneli Mustaparta, την ίδια μέρα, στο ίδιο show! Αν και προσωπικά προτιμώ το outfit της Olivia Palermo, δείχνει πολύ ωραίο και στις δύο!

It caught my eye a few days ago, but since I saw it on Olivia Palermo at the NYFW Tibi show I can't get it out of my head! Although I personally prefer Olivia's outfit, I have to admit that it looks great on both of them!
