Fashion Trend: The statement necklace!

Εδώ και μερικά χρόνια στη γλώσσα της μόδας έχει εμφανιστεί ένας νέος όρος για να περιγράφουμε τα πολύ εντυπωσιακά και μεγάλα (ογκώδη) σε μέγεθος κολιέ.
Το λεγόμενο statement necklace το έχουμε δει ουκ ολίγες φορές να κοσμεί γυναικείους λαιμούς, συνήθως σε πιο βραδινές εμφανίσεις και με ρούχα που έχουν ανοιχτό ντεκολτέ κλπ κλπ.
Κοίτα όμως τώρα τελευταία τι έχει αρχίσει να γίνεται..
Το statement necklace το φοράμε πια πάνω από ρούχα που έχουν λαιμόκοψη, έτσι ώστε να
ακουμπάει πάνω στο ύφασμα! Kαι μάλιστα έχω διακρίνει ότι η πιο τελευταία τάση είναι να κουμπώνουμε το πουκάμισο μέχρι το λαιμό και να φοράμε το κολιέ από πάνω (και μέσα από το γιακά)..

So for the past few years we often use the term statement necklace to describe impressive and large sized - actually huge - necklaces. Although up to now women usually wore them on naked skin and with clothes that have open decolte, I have recently noticed a different way of styling. The statement necklace now, must be worn over our top so that it touches the material instead of our skin. And to be more precise the latest trend I have figured, is to wear it over buttoned up shirts - yes all the way up to the neck.. You can see for yourself in the pictures I have gathered..
